BRRBC Response to COVID-19

The E Leadership Team will continue to consult with various authorities and review current recommendations by those authorities. After that, a decision will be made to go to Phase 1,2 or 3. The decision has been made to go to PHASE 2, Listed Below:

PHASE 2 Begins April 4, 2021

  •   10:45 AM Sunday Service

During this time period, you will have 3 choices for the 10:45 AM Service: Return to Church, FaceBook Live, and Church Website Live.

  •    9:30 AM Spiritual Growth for Adults Only:

        Elementary School Sunday, Afternoon

  •   Other Small Group Meetings:

        Must be approved by E Team, if approved

        will follow All Recommended Safety Regulations

 

  •   Gym Use or Rental: 

        Must be approved by E Team, if approved

        will follow All Recommended Safety Regulations

 

  •   General safety items for Sunday Service:

  1. Limit singing to La and Bernard. No choir.

  2. One mike per person. Don’t share microphones.

  3. Pastor and Deacon Recco Continue to conduct service.

  4. No programs or bulletins passed out.

  5. Must wear mask entire time in Church buildings and on campus.

  6. Space chairs so people can sit at least 6 feet apart

  7. Family units can sit together but must be 6 feet from non-family members.

  8. Disinfect the Church sanctuary after each use.

  9. Place offering at the door of the sanctuary with one of the Deacons. Don’t pass the offering or have people walk around.

  10. For Communion use pre-packaged cups.

  11. Encourage high-risk groups to watch services online at home.

  12. Service Overflow will be in FLC. Set up chairs to accommodate 25 people for at least 6 feet distance.

  13. No Children’s Church or Nursery during Phase 2

 

FOLLOW THESE SAFETY REGULATIONS:

  1. DO NOT ENTER IF YOU (OR YOUR CHILD) ARE SICK OR EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS SUCH AS FEVER, CHILLS, COUGH, ETC OR YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID 19.

  2. MASK WILL BE MANDATORY FOR ALL ATTENDEES OVER 2 YEARS OF AGE WHILE ON CAMPUS (INSIDE OR OUTSIDE). PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MASK OR ONE WILL BE PROVIDED TO YOU.

  3. EVERYONE ENTERING THE SANCTUARY WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE HAND SANITIZER

  4. MAINTAIN AT LEAST 6 FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES.

  5. TEMPERATURE SCANNERS WILL BE USED TO ENSURE NO ONE ENTERS WITH TEMPERATURES ABOVE CDC GUIDELINES.

  6. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF THE GREETERS AND USHERS AT ALL TIMES.

  7. PRACTICE ELEVATED HYGIENE: 

      a. Wash hands often. Hand sanitizer will be provided.

           Also, bring your own hand sanitizer. 

      b. Wear disposable gloves when touching any surface

           that you do not know to be clean.

  8. PRACTICE ELEVATED SANITATION: 

      a. Wipe down counters, handles, and sinks

           in the bathrooms after use. 

      b. Only one person at a time use bathroom. 

      c. Wipe commonly touched surfaces

          (such as door handles and) after each use.

  9. ALL GREETINGS WILL BE TOUCH FREE.

10. NO CHILDRENS CHURCH OR NURSERY WILL BE PROVIDED.

11. NO COFFEE OR FOOD WILL BE SERVED.

12. NO GATHERING IN AREAS IN OR OUTSIDE THE CHURCH.

13. IF IN A HIGH -RISK GROUP YOU ARE ENCOURAGE TO WATCH
